Chris Conlon grew up on the shores of Lake Erie, where his obsession with fishing started at just five years old chasing walleye, pike, bass, and trout. What began as a childhood passion quickly turned into a lifelong pursuit of bigger water and harder fighting fish.

Chris later spent five years in Clearwater, Florida, working as a mate on multiple boats and battling grouper, snapper, redfish, and trout, gaining real charter boat experience and sharpening his skills offshore.

After returning to the Rochester, New York area, the pull of the Great Lakes took over. Chris turned his focus to the legendary waters of Lake Ontario, chasing King salmon, brown trout, and steelhead and constantly pushing to dial in the patterns of one of the toughest fisheries in the country.

In 2025, Chris earned his Captain’s license and continues to refine his craft under the guidance of Lake Ontario legend Captain John Ross of Team Tomahawk.

Driven by competition and fueled by the thrill of the hunt, Chris brings relentless determination to the water with one goal in mind — finding fish and putting them in the box.
